Tea Party Tips

Summer starts in just a few days, so we thought we would catch you up on a few tea party tips! If you are planning to host your own event, you might want to consider these ideas for your spread!

Decorations

Lace doilies are a must! Also make sure you have an elegant tablecloth with matching napkins for your presentation. You may also want to string up some bunting, which you can make yourself with scrap paper or cloth. Include name place signs for each one of your guests. If you want to go all out, make a visit to your local charity shop to purchase mismatched floral Chinaware.

Table Setting

Dessert plate, tea cup and saucer, silverware, napkin ring and tea spoon. Do not forget to bring out your favorite tea pot with milk and sugar while setting the stage!

Food & Drink

That’s where we come in! Purchase or bake an array of allergy-free desserts and stack them on a tiered cake stand, so do not take up too much place. We recommend serving traditional English Breakfast tea. You can also make your own blend of iced tea! A selection of summer sandwiches are always a good idea. For the sweet part, you may choose to include Petit Lapin cookies, select cakes, cupcakes, macarons, cakepops, madeleines, donuts, cream puffs, or apple pies, which would go wonderfully with your spread! Other things to consider are scones, jam, or other delicious allergy free pâtisseries your guests will love!
