Let’s get festive for Fall! If you’ve been apple picking lately, you might want to make mini caramel apples with your extra apples. These mini caramel apples are easy to make bite-sized treats just like cake pops. Follow these simple easy steps to make your own mini candy apples come to life! For the allergy-free version, simply order a jar of caramel from Petit Lapin.

What you need:

  • Apples
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Caramel
  • Rice milk
  • Coffee scoop
  • Parchement

Instructions:

  1. Place mini pops back in the freezer for 15 minutes to let the caramel set
  2. Repeat the previous steps for all mini pops
  3. Take mini apples out of freezer and dip the apple pops in one by one. Let the excess caramel drip back into the pot and place caramel apple on parchment
  4. Once caramel is smooth and melted, remove the pot from the oven
  5. Add 2 tbsp of rice milk
  6. Unwrap caramel and melt in pot over medium-low heat
  7. Pat them dry and store in freezer until caramel is ready
  8. Push a lollipop stick through the middle of each one
  9. Peel apples and scoop out little round balls with the coffee scoop
  10. Prepare parchment
  11. Once time is up, place them in the fridge for 30 minutes and make sure caramel has hardened before taking them out
  12. Once the caramel hardened, take them out of the fridge and peel them off parchment

Enjoy! 🙂
