Preparing a Simple Green Smoothie

You might want to opt for a healthy drink with a kick! All you need is a blender and a few frozen or fresh ingredients. The green smoothie might be the only way you’ll get your children to eat their vegetables!

This recipe serves 2 good sized smoothies. If you are having a party, why not whip up a pitcher? All you need to do is double or triple the amounts.


1 lime

1/4 cup of fresh mint leaves

2 cups of coconut water

2 cups of kale

3 cups of pineapple


Start off by blending the kale and coconut water. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until liquified. Squeeze lime on top. Add ice cubes (if not using frozen fruits) and pour!
